UNIVERSAL CHURCH… 71-85 verses (999)

MEDITATION 5

(CHANTER:)
We worship the one solitary God of heaven Who is triune; + in the Father, + and in the Son, + and in the Spirit. * In the first Christian millennium the church was also one in holiness, while universally apostolic serving beyond the judicial Latin canons * and transcending the belief structure of the philosophical Greeks. As with the church of Saints Cyril and Methodius also incorporating * the individual’s desire of aesthetics so dear to the Slavs. Tradition is evangelically tempered for customary orthodox catholic usage.

CHANT 5

(ALL:)
+ Glory be to You O Lord glory be to You
Alleluia, alleluia!

(CLERGY:)
Attention! A reading from Saint John: (Looking up to heaven Jesus prayed) “I am coming to You thus no longer in this world, but they are and You are in this world, so I come to You. Father, * keep through the power of Your holy name those who You have entrusted to Me, * that they may be one as We are One.” (John 17-11)
(ALL:)
+ Glory be to you Our God glory be to You
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
